Feathers development

Gà nòi chicks will not develop tail feathers until 6 to 8 weeks old. The wing feathers of gà nòi chicks are scarce, about 3 or 4 feathers per side. They look muscular as compared to chicks of other breeds. They have only furs, and no body feathers as well as no tail feathers until after 6 to 8 weeks. Gà nòi pullets will develop tail feathers in about 6 weeks. This is noticeably different in comparison to chicks of some other breeds which, will grow tail feathers in 2 days. .
